His performance in the Under-19 World Cup was remarkable where he bagged 9 wickets and was the joint leading wicket-taker in the tournament.

Usman Qadir - Usman has a similar motion to his father, Abdul Qadir, Pakistan's most well-known spinner. He was the joint-highest wicket taker with nine against Zimbabwe Under-19 with his leg-spin, and he repeated the feat in the tri-series against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, taking six wickets at 12.83. Sulaiman Qadir, his brother, has also represented Pakistan's Under-19 team.
